Meet art collector Jamie Cameron

photo of Jamie Cameron Jamie Cameron was a professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, in Toronto, Ontario for many years and is well known in the legal community. She has also served on the board of directors for many organizations over the years, including the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, Canada’s National Ballet School, the Canadian and BC Civil Liberties Associations, and others.

She and her husband, Chris Bredt, are long-time collectors of Inuit art, as well as of aboriginal art from other communities. They have supported the arts over the years, including by donating parts of their collection to public institutions, and are frequent travelers to Canada’s north. Ms Cameron is on the Board of Directors of the Inuit Art Foundation and Chair of the Governance Committee. She and her husband are also long-time members of the Inuit Art Society.

Ms Cameron will be speaking at the Inuit Art Society’s Annual Meeting on September 30, 2022, in Vancouver, Canada.
