The Inuit Art Society is a tax exempt public charity in the United States. As such, dues are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.
Membership Dues
All dues are paid annually for the period July 1 – June 30.

Individual Member – $35
- One person
- Full voting privileges
- Eligible for office
Family Member – $50
- Two or more persons living at the same address
- Full voting privileges
- Eligible for office
Artist Member – No dues
- Recognized member of the artist community only
- No voting privileges
- Ineligible for office
- Serves in an honorary and advisory capacity
- Please confirm your continuing membership annually
Commercial Galleries
Representatives of businesses are welcome to join as individual members, at the $35 annual rate. You may use your business address and contact information if you want it to appear in our directory.
Sponsoring Gifts
The IAS welcomes gifts from individuals and institutions, in addition to membership. Sponsoring gifts are donations separate from membership dues. Donations may be made by members or non-members, and are tax deductible in the United States. Sponsors may be corporations, museums, academic institutions/organizations, and individuals.
Use of gifts is unrestricted and at the discretion of the IAS Board of Directors.
We offer several levels of sponsorship
- Shaman Sponsor – $500 and above
- Sedna Sponsor – $250-$499
- Inukshuk Sponsor – $100-$249
- Ulu Sponsor – $10-$99
