Our next virtual meeting will be on Sunday, June 5, 2022. We’re featuring Alaskan artist Vera Shoogukwruk.
Vera is a Siberian Yupik/Inupiaq from St. Lawrence Island and White Mountain Alaska who has produced a beautiful collection of parkas, kamiks, mukluks, mittens, as well as jewelry to compliment her creations. She will be discussing her passion for the design and creation of native-made wearable art.
