Janet Kiqusiuq “Deconstructed” at Feheley Fine Arts

Our friends at Feheley have another one of their informative virtual exhibitions online now until February 21. This one features the work of Janet Kiqusiuq, looking particularly at how her use of color has changed over time.

This exhibition of original works traces the development of Kigusiuq’s style from early linear drawings to a gradual increased use of colour. This progression results in an exquisite series of sublime abstract works done in collage. Over a career spanning 30 years, Kigusiuq would experiment regularly with media, pushing the boundaries of artmaking in the North.”
