Sunday, September 27: Michael Massie now and then with Alysa Procida
Join us at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on September 27th for a virtual presentation on Michael Massie’s newly opened exhibit “Michael Massie: now and then” at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto. Alysa Procida, former Executive Director of the Inuit Art Foundation, has curated the exhibit and will speak about Massie’s continuum of work over the years. Sunday, October 18: Viktor and Inna Iadne
Join us at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on October 18 for a virtual presentation with Siberian Nenets artists Viktor and Inna Iadne. If you are unfamiliar with these master carvers (currently located in New York City), you are in for a real treat, as their intricately carved pieces are both beautiful and deeply connected to the traditions of their homeland. They will talk about their work and will include a few pieces available for purchase in their presentation. You can see some of their work on their website and at Of the Earth Connections.
