Virtual Meeting: Pat Feheley on the work of Arnaqu Ashevak

We are delighted to present our first virtual presentation of the year, featuring Pat Feheley, noted Inuit art scholar and gallery owner. This will take place on Tuesday, May 12 – 8:00 PM EDT/5:00 PDT.

Pat will be speaking about Arnaqu Ashevak, adopted son of celebrated artist Kenojuak Ashevak and her husband, Johnniebo.

A talented printmaker and carver, Arnaqu Ashevak was best known for his three-dimensional work that often used unconventional materials. Sometimes fanciful, humorous, and thought-provoking, his works have been exhibited in museums and galleries across Canada and the United States.
